SingTel said in a statement that pricing and other information will be available later for the new model, called the iPhone 3G S, which is faster than the existing iPhone model and can capture videos.SingTel said the phone will be available in Singapore in July. SingTel’s Australian unit, Optus, said in a separate statement that it will offer the iPhone 3G S from June 26.
The new Apple smartphone will go on sale June 19 in eight countries, including the U.S., France and the U.K.
SingTel also said the new iPhone 3.0 software will become available for its subscribers in Singapore on June 18.
